So you’re thinking this blog is about SPAs??? Well, you’re right: KIND of …. If you read on, you’ll find out why every office should have a SPA. Just so you know, you’re not going to learn about facials, treatments, massages or manicures. We’ll leave that topic for another day.

BUSY LITTLE BEES.
Just because your staff appear to always be busy, busy, busy doesn’t actually mean they’re working efficiently. I often hear from practice owners saying “I’d like to make changes but am afraid to rock the boat” OR “my staff are working at full capacity and they think making any changes will disrupt their day to day control.” As well, I also hear from the actual staff saying: “If it ain’t broke, why fix it? Our office is a well-oiled machine that runs very smoothly.” I always think to myself, if they only knew how much more efficient they could be taking advantage of all of Tracker’s capabilities!! Don’t you often wonder who is the “they” they are referring to? Well, in this instance, it’s YOU!!

LET ME TELL YOU.
Finding opportunities to improve is something every office can achieve. It’s the truth! If it was my practice, I’d want to know how well I was doing (or even simple ways in which I could potentially improve). Our data review, which we call our Strategic Practice Analysis, aka: SPA (don’t you just love acronyms …), looks at how the scheduling, billing, charting and treatment plans are being used and points out any ongoing inefficiencies/errors that may be occurring. These types of issues can result in lost production and patients, as well as lost revenue for your practice. It is truly beneficial for you to complete this analysis to better understand if your practice is running efficiently or not. We will provide you with a report that tells you exactly how your staff is actually using Tracker. You will be able to see if they’re using it to its full potential or simply using a fraction of the software?
From the offices that have performed this data review, I can honestly say that the immediate areas of improvement which have been identified, were a huge “ah-huh” to the actual practice owners. Offices are usually shocked to learn what needs to be improved. If something can be fixed, then we will tell you how to fix it. If an issue needs to be addressed, we will address it and focus on ways to implement immediate improvement.

As the saying goes, “why waste money on inefficiency, when you can save money by increasing efficiency and productivity and reduce errors?” So perhaps this is not an actual saying but it’s true, isn’t it?
